WHERE TO INSTALL DRAINFIT INSPECTION CHAMBERS

Inspection chambers play an important role in maintaining the efficiency of underground drainage systems. They provide access points that allow routine inspection, cleaning and maintenance without disturbing the entire network.

Drainfit Inspection Chambers are typically installed at:

  • Junctions where branch pipelines connect to the main drainage line
  • Locations where the drainage line changes direction
  • Points where the pipe gradient or slope changes
  • Areas where the pipe diameter changes
  • Long straight drainage runs at suitable intervals
  • Locations requiring regular inspection and maintenance access

Proper placement of PP inspection chambers makes it easier to identify blockages, carry out maintenance and ensure the smooth operation of the drainage system.

FEATURES & BENEFITS OF DRAINFIT INSPECTION CHAMBER
Heavy Wall Construction

Designed with optimum wall thickness, the chamber provides the strength required to withstand underground conditions and external loads

Leak-Proof Rubber Seal

The integrated rubber sealing system helps create secure joints, reducing the risk of leakage and groundwater ingress.

Smooth Flow Channel

A built-in flow slope encourages efficient wastewater movement and helps minimise sediment build-up within the chamber.

Tapered Design

The chamber's tapered shape helps it sit securely once installed and also makes handling and installation easier, particularly in areas where excavation space is limited.

Stainless Steel Fasteners

Corrosion-resistant stainless steel screws provide secure assembly and dependable long-term performance.

Blanking Plug Provision

Allows future connections or modifications to be incorporated without major changes to the drainage network.

Together, these features help create a reliable inspection chamber for drainage applications while simplifying installation and maintenance activities.

Material & Manufacturing

Drainfit Inspection Chambers are manufactured from high-quality polypropylene (PP) using precision injection moulding technology. Polypropylene is widely used in underground drainage applications because of its durability, lightweight nature and excellent resistance to chemicals.

The material can withstand exposure to a variety of acids, alkalis and substances commonly found in wastewater systems. It also offers good impact resistance and a low coefficient of friction, helping maintain smooth flow characteristics throughout the drainage network.

COMPATIBLE UNDERGROUND PIPING SYSTEMS

Drainfit Inspection Chambers are designed to work smoothly with Prince underground drainage systems, making it easier to create a reliable and well-connected drainage network.

Compatible System Application
Prince Drainfit Underground Pipes Residential and commercial drainage systems
Underground Drainage Pipes as per IS 15328 Sewerage and wastewater networks
Structured Wall Underground Pipes Infrastructure and municipal drainage projects
